During its 250 years, CREED has been a loyal supporter of the communities in which it does business. As CREED is a very small, independent, family-run company that produces all of its products by hand in France, CREED’s support many times takes the form of a special item presented for a charity auction. For example, CREED flacons, perhaps signed by a member of the CREED family, offered with CREED shatterproof atomizers, are examples of such donations. Occasionally, CREED’s charity support takes the form of a financial gift.
Some of the nonprofit organizations CREED has supported in the past year include Haiti earthquake relief, the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund, the Women of Color Breast Cancer Survivors’ Project, Hope for Vision (which conducts research against blinding diseases), the Art for Life Foundation (the charity of Russell Simmons assisting sick children), Chabad Children of Chernobyl (which assists children born in Chernobyl), St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of New York, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. as well as local historical organizations.
As Memorial Day is celebrated in the United States, CREED is even more proud of its support — including high-quality soaps and hair and body washes — sent to the United States Armed Forces in Iraq and U.S. soldiers recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The many messages of thanks CREED has received from these places are treasured in our company archives.
