Royal-Oud’s Noble Mission

Monday, July 11th, 2011

Royal-Oud is the new fragrance from CREED capturing the splendor of palace life, Persian and Parisian, for the modern American man and woman, in a way no other fragrance has.  Already owned by English royals and America’s most famous dynasty in politics,  Royal-Oud has an international mission.  Rich with oud, the sumptuous ingredient coaxed from Agarwood trees, acquired personally by Erwin CREED from local providers in India, luxurious CREED Royal-Oud gives back  to India as well.

Part of proceeds from sales of Royal-Oud in the US and Canada benefits child health in India via the nonprofit group Global Giving.  Specifically, funds from Royal-Oud sales will help establish camps to provide immunizations in remote parts of India not served by state health facilities.  That is why CREED, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, presented debut bottles to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor during their recent visit to California; the royal couple are the future heads of the British Commonwealth, including India.  Enjoying CREED Royal-Oud is enjoying mindful luxury.

CREED & Charity

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

During its 250 years, CREED has been a loyal supporter of the communities in which it does business. As CREED is a very small, independent, family-run company that produces all of its products by hand in France, CREED’s support many times takes the form of a special item presented for a charity auction. For example, CREED flacons, perhaps signed by a member of the CREED family, offered with CREED shatterproof atomizers, are examples of such donations. Occasionally, CREED’s charity support takes the form of a financial gift.

CREED Responds to Haitian Quakes

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Over the years, CREED has been a proud trading partner of Haiti, buying Haitian vetiver grass, the essence of which is extracted in CREED’s workshop in France for our beloved Original Vetiver fragrance.  Now, in Haiti’s troubled times, CREED is responding to the earthquakes’ devastation by donating five percent of proceeds from sales of this site, www.creedboutique.com, CREED’s official and exclusive online store, to Haitian relief.

On the advice of experts and observers now working in the quake zone in Haiti, CREED has chosen ADRA (www.adra.org) and its Haitian Earthquake Response Fund as the channel for support to Haiti.  Among other endeavors, ADRA is working in the area of water purification — making undrinkable water safe to drink.

ADRA has committed to donate 100 percent of its Haitian Earthquake Relief Fund to the immediate and long-term development of Haiti.

CREED is pleased to support ADRA’s efforts to avert a further humanitarian crisis in Haiti, and we hope you will join us.
