CREED is honored to serve global leaders in every field ranging from politics and business to film, music and sports. In the current issue of Departures Magazine, U.S. Olympian Evan Lysacek reveals he wore CREED Imperial Millesime on the night he won the gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. The candor and support of Mr. Lysacek, one of America’s most accomplished athletes, is vastly appreciated. The Departures Magazine article appears at left.

Olympian Selects CREED
Wednesday, June 30th, 2010CREED & Charity
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010During its 250 years, CREED has been a loyal supporter of the communities in which it does business. As CREED is a very small, independent, family-run company that produces all of its products by hand in France, CREED’s support many times takes the form of a special item presented for a charity auction. For example, CREED flacons, perhaps signed by a member of the CREED family, offered with CREED shatterproof atomizers, are examples of such donations. Occasionally, CREED’s charity support takes the form of a financial gift.

CREED Sprays for the Well Dressed Home
Monday, May 17th, 2010CREED fragrances such as CREED Green Valley, CREED Love in Black and CREED Erolfa are the perfect finishing touch for the well-dressed man or woman. CREED also provides superb ambience for the home.
CREED room sprays are blended by master perfumer Olivier CREED in his French country workshop alongside CREED fragrances for the body. A major difference is that Mr. CREED uses much higher concentrations of natural ingredients — blooms, buds and spices, for example — for room sprays that quickly fill any chamber with lush, inviting scent.
CREED’s Cocktail de Pivoines room spray literally means “cocktail of peonies”. It has a loyal clientele worldwide. In fact, royal household purchasing departments are among its largest acquirers. Perfect for family or guest quarters, this scent is floral and fresh — but never overpowering.

CREED’s Leather Bags Serve in Iraq

Lt. Anthony Arellano

CREED Travel Grooming Kit in black
It’s obvious that CREED leather kits, hand-stitched in France from Italian leather, are an attractive take-anywhere way to store shaving gear, shampoo, soap and, of course, fragrance. But how strong and durable are they? Tough enough for U.S. troops serving in Iraq.
In 2009, as part of our regular shipments of grooming goods, including soaps and hair-and-body washes, to U.S. troops serving in Iraq, CREED sent a leather travel-grooming kit to U.S. Army First Lieutenant Anthony Arellano, serving in a field artillery unit outside the city of Tikrit. Lieutenant Arellano kept his CREED kit with him for the rest of his tour in Iraq, which included many dangerous missions. CREED is proud the kit withstood searing heat and sun, rough travel, sand and sustained use in perfect condition. CREED is very pleased that Lieutenant Arellano and his kit have returned safely to the U.S.
From its durable handle to its double-zip compartments, CREED kits sized at 10 inches long, six and one half inches high and four inches wide are an ideal way to carry with you all your grooming goods — wherever in the world you go.

Sun, sand, stars and CREED. It’s a perfect combination.
As part of CREED’s 250th anniversary, this spring will be CREED’s first in the Hamptons, the famous, much-watched beach towns at the sandy east end of Long Island, New York where year-round and summer residents include top artists, actors, sports stars, broadcasters, politicians and assorted other notables.
CREED makes its home at Saks Fifth Avenue in Southampton, the quaint waterside village 80 miles from New York City. CREED is now available there 12 months a year.

CREED in Fashion Photography
Thursday, April 15th, 2010Even as CREED celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2010, CREED fragrances remain enduringly stylish. In fact, many fashion editors and photographers choose CREED to be part of photo shoots for magazines, newspapers and websites around the world. A few selections from recent years are featured here.

As you can see, CREED products shot for fashion pages range from classic CREED flacons (or 8.4 ounce decanters) and CREED Original Vetiver to CREED Love In White. On one occasion, a CREED family member, seventh generation Erwin CREED, took a break from work in Paris to be photographed for a full page in Vanity Fair, a rare public appearance.

CREED Responds to Haitian Quakes
Wednesday, January 20th, 2010Over the years, CREED has been a proud trading partner of Haiti, buying Haitian vetiver grass, the essence of which is extracted in CREED’s workshop in France for our beloved Original Vetiver fragrance. Now, in Haiti’s troubled times, CREED is responding to the earthquakes’ devastation by donating five percent of proceeds from sales of this site, www.creedboutique.com, CREED’s official and exclusive online store, to Haitian relief.
On the advice of experts and observers now working in the quake zone in Haiti, CREED has chosen ADRA (www.adra.org) and its Haitian Earthquake Response Fund as the channel for support to Haiti. Among other endeavors, ADRA is working in the area of water purification — making undrinkable water safe to drink.
ADRA has committed to donate 100 percent of its Haitian Earthquake Relief Fund to the immediate and long-term development of Haiti.
CREED is pleased to support ADRA’s efforts to avert a further humanitarian crisis in Haiti, and we hope you will join us.
