CREED and New York Fashion Week

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

CREED is honored to be asked to join in special events by designers showing their collections on the runways during New York Fashion Week.  Yet CREED must respectfully decline.  All authentic CREED products are made by hand by sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier CREED, his son, Erwin, and a staff of just 35 people working in a single location in the French countryside.  With such hand production, scarcity is a hallmark of genuine CREED. Regrettably, CREED does not have a supply of spare hand-made products to offer even on the most inviting fashion design occasions.  CREED serves the needs and wishes of its clientele first, and still, demand vastly exceeds supply.

The CREED boutique at 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in Manhattan will participate in Fashion’s Night Out, however, on the evening of September 8.  Visitors to the store (212.439.7777 or 1.877.273.3344) will have an opportunity to sample all that is new from CREED for fall, including Royal-Oud, White Flowers and Original Cologne, new perfumed oils and more.

The CREED boutique at 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in New York City (212.439.7777 or 1.877.273.3344) will participate in Fashion’s Night Out on September 10. Conceived by Vogue Magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Fashion’s Night Out is a worldwide shopping event offering extended hours, special events and programs timed with the start of New York Fashion Week.

The CREED boutique will remain open until 10:00 p.m. local time on September 10, offering select items signed by Erwin CREED, 29, seventh generation of the house and its future head.

Additionally, a portion of proceeds from sales of all CREED products at the boutique on Fashion’s Night Out will benefit Stand Up to Cancer (www.standup2cancer.org), a simulcast that night by ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox to raise funds to fight cancer. Stand Up to Cancer is a project of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
