In the October issue of Town & Country, a review of CREED Royal-Oud calls it “a heady unisex fragrance with a sweet, irresistible smokiness.” The magazine shares with readers the backstory of Royal-Oud, which contains the costly, fragrant resin oud gathered by Erwin CREED, 30, seventh generation of the house, from providers in India. The magazine also notes that part of proceeds from U.S. sales of Royal-Oud will benefit child health in India via the nonprofit organization GlobalGiving.

One modern-day legend is the famed international editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine, Helen Gurley Brown. A trailblazer for women in their careers and elsewhere, Ms. Brown for decades has personified the glamour, independence and success of a national — and international — magazine editor who stays on the cutting edge of all trends. For this reason, it was CREED’s pleasure to send Ms. Brown a debut bottle of CREED Original Santal in 2006.
