CREED Spice and Wood to Debut

Spice and Wood, the widely anticipated second release in the new Royal Exclusives collection, will debut in America when Erwin CREED, 29, seventh generation of CREED and its future head, visits the U.S. in November. Mr. CREED will make public appearances at Bergdorf Goodman and select Neiman Marcus stores coast to coast, presenting the fragrance to the public for the first time and signing bottles. Details of Mr. CREED’s visit will be released in a few weeks.

With Spice and Wood, Olivier CREED, sixth-generation master perfumer, father of Erwin CREED, continues one of the most sweeping projects in CREED’s 250 years: a special Royal Exclusives collection to state for all time the aesthetic value of fragrance and bottling as lasting art and investment. The fragrance combines finest aged woods and spices with exotic essences in a master’s blend that marks 250 years of royal service. Presented in a hand-blown Pochet glass decanter with spray top, the fragrance is a luxury asset for men but intensely enjoyed by women.

Erwin CREED will tour the U.S. in fall 2010

As CREED’s 250th anniversary approaches in November 2010, special activities are underway at the world’s only luxury fragrance dynasty passed from father to son in an unbroken line since 1760.

Paris-based CREED starts the celebration in the U.S. with the exclusive, American launch of a spectacular, new fragrance called Aventus, inspired by the very idea of success. Aventus is a masterwork already being enjoyed by leaders in politics, sports, music and film. Aventus is available on this site and soon at Neiman Marcus coast to coast, Bergdorf Goodman and the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City.

CREED began its 250th year by opening its only North American boutique at 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in New York City (1-877-CREED 44) and displaying there for the public some of CREED’s correspondence with legends and VIPs over the centuries.

CREED also launched this site to mark the anniversary year.
