Maximiliano Palacio, captain the CREED polo team named Royal Service to honor a new fragrance
Maximiliano Palacio will captain the CREED fragrance company polo team in 2012, and the team will take the name Royal Service, after the newest CREED fragrance, offered now, only 300 bottles, each signed and numbered by sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier CREED in Paris. The fragrance is offered here and at CREED, 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in New York, 877.273.3344.
The CREED Royal Service polo team will play in England and in Mr. Palacio’s native Argentina, with some US matches. CREED Vice President Adam Brecht will also play, joined by local players in the host country.
Max Palacio is an actor and polo player resident in Los Angeles.

Recent letters from former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush have been added to the archive at the CREED boutique at 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in New York (1.877.273.3344), open seven days.
In their letters, the former Presidents thank CREED for Royal-Oud and praise its humanitarian mission. “I look forward to using the fragrance,” wrote former President George H.W. Bush. “I’m delighted to know that the proceeds will benefit children’s health in India ,” wrote former President Clinton.
Letters and royal warrants in the 251-year CREED archive can be viewed upon request.

The CREED polo team has a special gift for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: a collection of CREED fragrances, including upcoming 2011 launch Royal-Oud, deposited at the Santa Barbara Polo Club where Prince William will play and where Catherine will award the winners’ trophy in a match during the royal couple’s US visit in July.
The CREED polo team was also pleased to make a donation to Tusk USA, a favorite charity of Their Royal Highnesses. Tusk initiates and funds conservation and community development programs across Africa. Tusk protects wildlife, including endangered species, and helps alleviate poverty and encourage sustainable development and education among many poor, rural communities in Africa.

The CREED fragrance company (www.creedboutique.com) polo team will play under the name CREED Royal-Oud this summer. Royal-Oud is the Paris perfumery’s new fragrance for fall, not yet available in the U.S. Made by sixth-generation master perfumer Olivier CREED for men and women, Royal-Oud is intended to provide “a touch of palace life, Persian and Parisian”™.
Part of proceeds from US sales of Royal-Oud at the CREED boutique at 794 Madison Avenue at 67th Street in New York (1.877.273.3344), at www.creedboutique.com, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and the Saks flagship store in Manhattan will benefit child immunization in India via the nonprofit www.GlobalGiving.org.
The ingredient oud, coaxed from Agarwood trees and more expensive per ounce than palladium, was obtained in India by Erwin CREED, 30, seventh generation of the house, respecting local rules and livelihoods. The CREED Royal-Oud polo team, captained by Adam Brecht, this year includes LA-based television actor Maximiliano Palacio of Argentina, with matches in the US, England and Argentina.
